Praying for
Backsliders
"I tell
you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner
who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to
repent."(Luke 15:7)
"Consider
how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do
not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place."
(Revelation 2:5)
Today,
let´s pray for those who have moved away from the communion with God and the
church, and need a new opportunity to draw near.
Let´s
remember those who used to be a blessing in God´s presence, to recognize,
again, the sovereignty of the Lord, and that there is no other way besides
Christ.
Remember
the families who are suffering seeing their members lost, to find comfort in Jesus
and to have strength enough to not give up on interceding.
Also,
pray for the discipleship teams and the church leaders to have wisdom to guide
people on God´s path.
