November 29

JUDE 1:24-25
The book of Jude talks about several issues t
hat will happen in the last days.
However, the two final verses of Jude´s book show us that we must have hope. Despite all bad things that are happening and that will happen, we must be sure that we will overcome these evil days.
Jude presentes three reasons why we can be certain that God will always be with us!

  1. In verse 24, we see that God is able. He is omnipotent. God is the authority over all other authorities. Bible says in Romans 13:1
There is no authority above God. This verse says that God will prevent you from stumbling or, according to some versions, from falling (missing the focus). God is capable of making us righteous people if we recognize His authorithy in our lives. However, God can oly do in our life what we let Him do . Ephesias 3:20 says that God is able to do immensely more than we ask or imagine "according to His power that is at work within us". It is so good to see that with all his authority, He will never force us to do something. Wo we can be Thankful for God´s authorithy over our lives. Still, no one is perfect. All of us will probably commit some mistakes through the course of our lives even after recognizing His authority over every aspect of our daily lives. And that is the  reason why we need God´s mercy.
  2. The second part of verse 24 shows the merciful nature of God. We may make some mistakes during our journey through life in this world, but if we recognize God´s authorithy in our life, He´s able to presente us before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy. This is a great proof of His mercy. God will Always provide a way for us to resist sin (1 Corinthians 10:13). But if we are not Strong enough to resist some temptations, God gives us several opportunities for us to be presented. Thank God for His amazing mercy. Ephesians 2:4-5 says that God loved us and made us alive in Jesus Christ even when we were dead in our transgressions. And Proverbs 4:18 says that the path of the righteous should be brighter until the full light of day which means that we must fight to become better at every second in order to reah the perfect will of God.
  3. We must be sure that God´s authority  and mercy are everlasting. They last forever! We must keep on praying and strenthening our Faith until Jesus es to the eternal life. Also, in verse 25, the final verse of the book of Jude, He gives us hope to survive when bad  things happen. First, because of God´s authority; second, because of His mercy; and finally because because if we give all the glory, majesty, power and authority to God our savior trough Jesus Christ our Lord, He will be merciful as He was before all ages, merciful as He is now, and will be forevermore.
