Prayer Campaign: Day 70

Praying for 2014

Praying for a Year of Revival

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
(Acts 2:1-4)

Rethinking about everything we have interceded along these 70 days, let´s ask that the Holy Spirit of God impact our lives in a different way in 2014 .

If you prayed for the church and felt grateful, great! But maybe when we prayed for the churches , you have thought that you are not happy in the place where you are. Pray for God to reveal you why you felt that way... Maybe things have happened there not that good precisely because you were not helping... Maybe you should do something, maybe you should help, propose some changes...

When you prayed for your family , you might have thought : " In my family , there is no problem " . Really? God, I hope there is not! But maybe, aren´t you lacking sensitivity to perceive the difficulties of someone? Or maybe you are the problem there in the middle of your  kindred?

When we prayed for missions , you may still need to understand that being a missionary goes beyond moving to a distant place . Being a missionary is to have a mission , whatever , and approach it with responsibility and commitment to God .

When we prayed for ministries and gifts ... Even if you know exactly what is your role in this world, be sure you still have something more to discover and perform...

When we prayed for our Brazil! How much trouble to pray for our nation ! But we must stand firm ! We can not give up our country!

And when we prayed for Israel , if you have not learned to love that nation, pray that God through His word reveals to you what is the importance of intercession for that country !

We are finishing this prayer campaign today and we finish it by asking God a year of renewal starting in each one of us .

Continue praying! Praying without ceasing!

Thank God for 2013!

Pray that 2014 be an even better year and we continue moving up, together, because it's over a united people that Lord pours His blessings!

Prayer Campaign: Day 69

Praying for 2014

Praying for the Unity of the Church

"Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind." (Philippians 2:2)

Let us pray for a church truly imitator of Christ in relation to the unit. Just as Jesus came to break down barriers between Jews and Gentiles, coming for all, pray for a church that goes against the world´s teaching of strife and division.

Let us pray for a church focused on God's purpose for itself and for humanity.

Let us pray for holiness.

Let us pray for obedience to God.

Pray for charity and love among the brothers.

Pray for understanding of our limitations as human beings.

Pray rebuking jealousy and envy.

Let us pray for more humility and less arrogance.

Let us pray for leaders, for the Holy Spirit to come upon them so that the thought of all be one, so with only one direction we will be one church, one united body in Christ.

Prayer Campaign: Day 68

Praying for 2014

Praying for an Awakening of the Church

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.
Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.” (Isaiah 52:1-2)

Let us pray for an impactful generation of Christians!

Pray for Christians who want to make difference!

Our enemy is working diligently, even more now, as we approach the end ... He already knows what is his fate and so he is struggling to drag as many people as possible with him.

So there is a lot for you and me to do!

Ask God for strength to fight our nature 3 S: saved, seated and satisfied!

Awake church!

Dress up!

Clean up!

Take a stand!

Free yourself!

Prayer Campaign: Day 67

Praying for 2014

Praying for Evangelism

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.”
 (Proverbs 11:30)

Pray for us who are part of the kingdom of God , that we may be living witnesses of the transforming power of a life with Christ.
Let us pray for courage to go beyond the walls of the temples , in prisons, in festivals , schools, sporting events, , government offices, hospitals ...
Let us pray for humility and selflessness . We are small, let´s keep this in our minds, but with God , when we give ourselves to Him , we are giants and He directs and empowers us according to His will , to achieve the most different people in all their diversity.
Pray rebuking fears.
Pray for wisdom and fearlessness in 2014, that more people will be reached by the grace and peace of God.

Remember that a
t the same time that we evangelize, God comes into our lives bringing healing and peace. Then, filled by the Holy Spirit we become able to, in the name of Jesus, bring peace and healing to others.

Prayer Campaign: Day 66

Praying for 2014

Praying for World Cup in Brazil

Then I was told, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.” (Revelation10:11)

The World Cup is approaching and we need to pray for this event .
Let us pray for peace in the cities where the games will take place . We had very bad experiences during the Confederations Cup , with depredation of public and private properties , violence , deaths ... Protests are permissible, but banditry no.
Let us pray for those who will work  fighting agaisnt prostitution , both adults and children , especially in this period .
Let us pray for those who will work in the airports, ports and frontiers  fighting drug and weapons trafficking.
Let us pray for foreigners visiting our country. Pray they come in peace and return in the same way to their homes.
Let us pray for the results of the Cup, I´m not talkin about the soccer games results., but about the consequences to host this type of event . Pray that here in Brazil does not happen the same as in South Africa, where so much was invested but for a number of reasons, almost no return for the general population was generated . The financial return of the event was so momentary that generated almost no change .
Pray for the churches that are preparing for the Cup elaborating evangelism projects . Let us pray for the success of their interventions , it will be a great opportunity for that, as long as everyone will have eyes on Brazil in that period .

Prayer Campaign: Day 65

Praying for 2014

Praying for Spiritual Growing
"Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every Wind of teach and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ." (Ephesians 4:14-15)

Pray for spiritual maturity.
Let us pray for the transformation that the Holy Spirit can do in us.
Pray for self-knowledge. We need to recognize our failures and devote ourselves to correct them.
Let us pray for a conscious faith.
Pray for commitment to read, study and teach the Word.
Let us pray for dedication to prayer.
Let us pray for communion between people.
Pray for perseverance, as growth takes time. Let us ask God dominion over anxiety.
Pray for wisdom and discernment. Not always a difficulty, that causes discomfort, sadness, grief, is a sign that we are failing. All growth brings some pain.

Prayer Campaign: Day 64

Praying for 2014
Praying for Personal Projects

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this” (Psalms 37:4-5)

Construction

An old carpenter who built houses was ready to retire. Reported to the chief his desire to leave the construction industry and spend more time with his family.
Also said he would miss the paycheck, but really wanted to retire.
The company would not be much affected by the output of a carpenter, but the boss was sad to see a good employee leaving
and asked the carpenter to work on a project as a favor.
The carpenter did not like, but eventually agreed. And it was easy to see that he was not enthusiastic about the idea.
Thus continued doing a second quality service and using inappropriate materials.
Was a negative way he finished his career.
When the carpenter finished, his boss came to do the inspection of the house built.
He gave the key to the carpenter and said, "This is your home.
It is my gift to you. "
The carpenter was very surprised.
What a pity!
If he had known he was building his own house, he would have done everything different.
The same happens to us.
We build our lives, one day at a time and often making less than the best possible construction.
Then, surprise, we found that we need to live in the house we built.
If we could do it over again, we would do things differently.
But we can´t go back.
You are the carpenter. Every day hammering nails, adjusting planks and building walls.
Someone once said that "Life is a project that builds yourself."
Your attitudes and choices today are building the "house" that you will live in tomorrow. Build wisely!

Praying for Missionaries in Israel

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,

"Your God reigns!" “ (Isaiah 52:7)

Let us pray for missionaries in Israel and that  more missionaries are sent  to that country.

Pray for the spiritual integrity of the missionaries. We pray that no evil can reach them and  that they remain in the will of God, that the Holy Spirit keep the fire of their calling burning and they do not lose focus.

Pray for the physical integrity of the missionaries. Pray that the Lord would raise up providers in such way that they are supported in all their needs.

Pray for effective evangelism, according to the plans of God.

Praying for Messianic Jews

“Therefore Jesus said again, "Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:7-10)

Let us pray for Messianic Jews.

Pray for this group, which in its own way is bringing salvation to Israel.

Let us pray for less traditions and more love for Christ and the Word.

Prayer Campaign: Day 61

Praying Against Neo-Nazism
"For God does not show favoritism." (Romans 2:11)
Pray today for the conversion of neo-nazis.

Pray for the opening up of their minds, so they can realize that we all belong to the same racial group. We are all the human race.
Pray that the scales fall from the eyes of these men and women blinded by a deceptive doctrine and that they have an experience with God and experience His love.
Pray for the enemies of Israel!
May God have mercy on them!

"A prophecy: The word of the LORD is against the land of Hadrak and will come to rest on Damascus — for the eyes of all people and all the tribes of Israel are on the LORD —" (Zachariah 9:1)

Prayer Campaign: Day 60

Praying for the End of the Conflict

with the Arabs

“For David had said, "Since the LORD, the God of Israel, has granted rest to his people and has come to dwell in Jerusalem forever,” “(1Chronicles 23:25)

Pray for understanding of the spiritual origins of the conflict between Israel and its neighbors.
Let us pray for the hundreds of young soldiers who risk their lives in defense of their territories and also risk the lives of civilians living in the vicinity of those places where they settle. Let us pray for the families of dead soldiers and innocent victims.
Let us pray for the conversion of Jews and commitment.
Let us pray for the conversion of the Arab people too, after all, God loves them too and He has promises and blessings for them.

Let us pray for both Arabs and the Jews as they certainly are not in favor of such violence, but almost nothing they can do against the extremists.
Pray for the Lord to come without delay and we will enjoy true peace.
