Amos 3:7

"Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."

The Holy Spirit is the one who does all things. He makes the whole difference in lives.

And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. 1John 3:24
Our Savior, our Sovereign Lord, the Powerful God is in us. Amazing thing! Receive this revelation!
When we realize that, the enemy becomes very angry. And if you don´t realize this, if you don´t understand this blessing you feel like a loser, defeated, disappointed....
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Psalms 51:11
David had this comprehension that he could not live without the Holy Spirit. We can´t live without God. That´s why unbelievers live depressed, anxious, sick...
Instead, be filled with the Spirit.Ephesians 5:18b
It´s not a matter of devotion. But a lifestyle of not being satisfied. It´s a matter of being hungry of the Holy Spirit.
When you live seeking God, you feel that, as time passes, you change. You must be full of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise you will not be sensitive enough to listen to waht the Lord wants to say to you, even if you are asking Him for that.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.1John 4:4
We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.1John 5:19
We have the responsability of spreading God´s word. To make those who live without God listen that there is another kind of life available.
We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.1 John 4:13-16
Sometimes you feel as you´re not able to overcome problems.
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.1 John 5:5
So, God gives you power through Jesus!
Do you have enough faith?
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33
How do we have peace in the Lord? Resting in Him. Trusting in God.
God warns us all the time. He instructed us: my children you will have trouble. He gives us advices. How merciful God is!
Take heart! Take heart brother!
That´s the way we overcome trouble: because God overcame the world!
For there are three that testify. 1 John 5:7
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him--the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:2
(A suggestion: say this verse as a prayer, change the word "him" for your name!)
Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:5-7
If you have thoughts of death, despair, sadness, for sure they come from the flesh, of the mind of the flesh.
The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mindf is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.Romans 8:6
Another prayer, in Isaiah 61:1-3:
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
Galatians 4:6 : Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
If you are living gy the Spirit:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.Galatians 5:22-25

Suggested prayer to start the day

"God, if I can or can´t do anything else today, I want to make sure I´ll have time to love You and to love other people - because that's what life consists in. I don´t want to waste this day."

Why should God gives us another day, if we are going to waste it?

God satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psalm 103:5)

Psalm 27:8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Read the Bible! Search for God! His Word has power to do big things and the little ones too. And for trouble, take care: do not allow little trouble increase. See the little as little, do not increase its importance.

We must have an attentive heart to hear because the Holy Spirit is all the time by our side, trying to speak to us. We must become sensitive to His voice. The Word of God has the exact revelation for each one of us concerns.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Titus 1:15b-16 ...but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

Sometimes, we claim we are God´s children but we act in a different way. We don´t let God work in us. When we claim we know God, we want to keep on learning from Him. We must keep on renewing every Day by the power of His Word. The Word of God changes us.

But why are our minds corrupted? Because we conform with the pattern of the world, and we don´t live according to the way god wants us to live. We can~t think the way people who doesn´t God think.
- Sometimes we do things we should not.
- Sometimes we say things we should not.

1 Corinthians 2:16b But we have the mind of Christ.

How can we have the mind of Christ? Praying, reading the Bible listening to the Holy Spirit...

A few examples of behavior of those who do not conform to the standard of the world:

1 Peter 3:1-4;7  Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

Ephesians 4:29-31 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

1 Corinthians 15:33b Bad company corrupts good character. Pay attention to your work place, school, family members...

The Word of God says: 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

So if you love Jesus you can´t conform with the pattern of this world.

Colossians 3:3-10 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.  Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Be different!
Do the difference!

Keep the faith!

"Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance
the heart is made better." (Ecclesiastes 7:3)

Every person and every nation has to learn in the school of adversity, in the school of God. "We can say, 'Blessed is the night because it makes us see the stars.' Likewise we can say, 'Blessed is the suffering, for it makes us see the consolation of God.' The floods brought down the home and the mill, all that the poor man had in life. But while contemplating the scene of his misery once downloaded waters, brokenhearted and discouraged, he saw something shining on the banks denuded by the waters. 'it seems gold, "he said. And it was gold. The flood made him rich. This often happens in life."

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…

-A time to be born and a time to die,
  • Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (PSalms 139:16)
-A time to plant and a time to uproot,
  • “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” (PSalms 126:5-6)
-A time to weep and a time to laugh,
  • “Jesus wept.” (John 11:35)
  • “Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll — are they not in your record?” (PSalms 56:8)
  • “You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” (PSalms 43:2-5)
  • “weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” (PSalms 30:5b)
  • “But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds ; rejoice before him —his name is the LORD.” (PSalms 68:3-4)
-A time to mourn and a time to dance,
  • “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.” (PSalms 30:11-12)
  • Be aware that life is not made of “good times” only.
  • “Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.”(Ecclesiastes 9:12)
  • “Blessed is the one whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.” (Salmos 1:2-3)
  • “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
-Our expectation is in the Lord, is His mercy and goodness.

-Our expectation must be in the Word of the Lord:
  •  “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. “(Romans 8:28)
- I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. (PSalms 34:1)

- Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. (Ecclesiastes 9:8)

- “The wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.” (Ecclesiastes 8:5)

-Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

-“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4)

- "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

-Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. (2 Ts 3:16)

- “However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" — the things God has prepared for those who love him — these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the  deep things of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)
