Praying for Revelation of the Word

“The word of the Lord came to me:” (Ezekiel 6:1)

^“ Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.” (1 Samuel 3:7)

“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,”(Hebrews 1:1)

 

Pray that God reveals us His Word.

God has revealed Himself through His Word, so we need to realize the importance of addressing the study of the Bible.

Every word written there is very important.  Jesus said, " For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished " (Matthew 5:18).

Ask God for wisdom, to read the Bible not in any way, or as historical literature but to study it in order to acquire more knowledge of God and his will.
