Why we give our testimony?

Hello, dear friend!

It's written in Romans 1.16: "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes..." and II Timothy 1.8a says: "Do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord..."
We have lots of reasons to give our testimony about what God has done for us and never be ashamed of our Lord Jesus.

Acts 4:20   says "As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (NIV) Other translations: "We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.” (New Living Translation) // “As for us, we must tell the things we have seen and heard.” (Worldwide English) // "There's nothing else we can do. We have to speak about the things we've seen and heard." (New International Reader's Version) // "We cannot keep quiet about what we have seen and heard." (Contemporary English Version)

We are encouraged to share our testimony and proclaim the great deeds the Lord has done for us. WHY?
- The Bible tells us to do that; personal testimonies bring edification to all those who listen to them and increase their faith because "faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God"; testimonies glorify, honor and exalt Jesus' name!

Psalm 66:16 - “Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.”
Psalm 107:2 - “Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.”
Psalm 126:3 – “The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
Psalm 73:28 – “But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. ”
Luke 8:39 - “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.”
Thanks to all of you who shared your testimony last Saturday! It was a blessing! The Lord keep on doing great things in your life!

A Strong hug!
