Spiritual Things Are Revealed to us by the Spirit of
God
“For
this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—
Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace
that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by
revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight
into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to
people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s
holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that
through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members
together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. I
became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the
working of his power.” (Ephesians 3:1-7)
1. We
need the Holy Spirit to be freed from what we think is right
- We must be freed from ourselves
- Isaiah 5:20-21: The Lord dislikes exchanged things
- Jeremiah 17:9: “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” - Many people suffer for exchanging things or people
- The more we know the Lord, the more we become free
- 2 Peter 1:1-9: We need to have knowledge and faith, but all these things to be effective and productive
- Matthew 11:25-30: Before speaking about His yoke, the Lord speaks about revealing Himself to His children. So, when Jesus reveals Himself, the next step is to take the yoke. That explains why there are so many people that know the Bible but they do not live in peace.
2. Some
things God says to us now will not happen right now
- Everything we hear from the Lord we must keep
- John 13:7
- Keep the Words of the Lord in your heart. There is an specific time for things to happen
- Daniel 12:8-9
- Live your life though you don´t even understand what the Lord is saying
3. We
say that the Lord said something He didn´t say
- People think, people imagine, people dream… Sometimes they misunderstand things and they say that the Lord gave directions He actually did not
- Ezekiel 13:1-3,6-7
