“The
Favor of The Lord”
Pr. Silvana
God is the same “yesterday, today and tomorrow”. What He did for His
people Israel in the past, He still does for us…
} Exodus 3.21-22 - “And I will make
the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when
you leave you will not go empty-handed. Every woman is
to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of
silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and
daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians.”
} Exodus 11.2-3 – “Tell the people that men
and women alike are to ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold.” (The Lord made
the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and Moses
himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the
people.)
Exodus
12.35-36 – “The
Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of
silver and gold and for clothing. The Lord had
made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and
they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the
Egyptians.”
Read below some promises from the Word of God and take
possession of them. Believe!!! It’s for you…
} Job 27.16-17 – “Though he (the wicked)
heaps up silver like dust and clothes like piles of clay, what
he lays up the righteous will wear, and the innocent will divide his
silver.”
} Proverbs 13.22 – “A good man leaves an
inheritance for his children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for
the righteous.”
} Ecclesiastes 2.26a – “To the man who pleases
Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner He gives
the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who
pleases God.”
God is sovereign! He
is always in control. People’s hearts are in His hands. He can cause people to
be favorable to you.
} Daniel 1.9 – “Now God had caused the official to show
favor and sympathy to Daniel.”
} Proverbs 3.4 – “Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.”
} Acts 2.46-47 – “Every day they continued
to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their
homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And
the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
} Psalm 90.17 – “May the favor of the Lord our God rest
upon us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes,
establish the work of our hands.”
}
God, according to His perfect and good will,
can make people around us (boss, neighbor, family member, leader, etc.) favorably disposed toward us, if we please Him. May the favor of
the Lord be on you!!!
